all this post started years ago this is 2010 and i just found it ,, hope someone sees my reply i don t know HOW this law suit turned out ,,but i hope she won these is no one in show busy today better than carol and as far as that goes all the red heads back then Red skelton lucy If you are to young to remmber or have not seen her show and other red heads of that era AND YOU THINK YOU ARE BEING INTERTAINED TODAY WITH BETTER SHOWS SIT COMS REALALITY SHOWS OR ANY COMEDIAN TODAY YOU ARE AN IDIOT JERRY SINFLIED HAS TO PAY PEOPLE TO LAUGH AT HIM CAROL BURNETTS SHOW AND RED SKELTON HAD A HARD TIME SAYING THEIR LINES BECAUSE THEY CRACKED THEM SELFS UP WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD BACK THEN WATCH SOME SHOWS TO PROVE ME WRONG

^On May 26, 2007, the lawsuit was dismissed by a Los Angeles federal judge.
So she didn't win & FG creators are still doing quite well.

active post on her board and FG has given far greater exposure to her old series, especially to younger audiences, than the infomercial that airs in the middle of the night marketing the collector's edition DVD of her show.
Carol Burnett was a big part of CBS's Saturday night line up that kept thousands of Americans from blasting their brains out in the seventies. She's a pioneer and opened the door for hundreds of women who wanted to go into comedy.
That said, she, like Lucille Ball in her advanced years, seems to be caught in a time bubble and not realizing that media has changed, failed to understand that the producers of the FB where likely in their own way paying homage, rather than disrespecting, her stature in the industry.
