Gary Busey has lived the dream. He is a good actor and one of my favorites, and I do not give a rats ass what anyone thinks about it if negative. I have even heard he's hard to work with. So what, some people are. If I can ever advance to a certain level, I'll hire him in a heartbeat. Busey Rocks.

It is like kids at school, you can have an illness (anything from epilepsy to diabetes to something more visible such as Mild Brain Damage) or you can just be different than to those who consider themselves "cool".
Not just at school it stops however, it can occur after school and why? Simple, because a lot of people in this world are uncaring, insensitive bullies who love to pick on people they find a threat to their existence, to their way of life not realising they are not bothering those individuals AT all. They also try to cover up their own problems and yes, most people who point and poke fun at others have far more pressing issues than those they dare to insult.
They may be to ignorant or full of themselves to admit it but why do you think they hang around in packs? Because on their own they are intimidated, they want to feel secure and get approval from their "friends".
Bullies of all forms are cancerous growths in this universe, Gary Busey has had to endure a lot of snickering because of his biking accident he had in '88 causing him to act "way out there".
If people would just grow up, take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and actually realised EVERYONE had feelings rather than point and make tactlessb68 jokes, this world would be a better place.unfortunately, with all of the egotistical idiots who walk around like they are God's gift, no, believe me you are not, you are more like The Juggling Jackasses.

I think people are not necessarily making fun of him, just finding humor in the situation. And although he brain injury has magnified his behavior, he has always been this way. He is believed to also have ADHD and has always been a little "wacky" since childhood.

I have sympathy for the brain injury he suffered so many years ago, and I admire much of his work and the fact that he was able to overcome the lasting damage and have such a prolific career. I don't think the "who would sleep with him?" comments are at all okay. That said, I don't think you can excuse all of his behavioral issues by blaming the accident. He has a long public history of abusing drugs and abusing women. I also think it's extremely worrisome that a person known for such erratic and unstable behavior however "not his fault" it is will now be raising a tiny little baby. Frankly, I think that's fair for people to voice concern about.
I think the thing that concerns me most now, and has for the last few years, is the circle of people who are influencing and manipulating this man who doesn't seem 100% capable of making decisions for himself. Anyone see celebrity rehab? His "handlers" signed him on to that show telling him he was there as a counsellor, but the show had him pegged as a patient. He was a sad shell at times and a laughing stock at others, and didn't seem to be able to recognize how he was being used. I could've cried for him. He needs to clean house of these "managers" and have someone in place who will really look out for him, not trot him out like a show animal into any piece of crap that brings them a check. They have laws to protect child actors who can't make their own decisions; there should be a law to stop people from abusing actors like Gary.

Gary is so terribly underrated and underused and underestimated and I believe that's why he just gave up and began to act the way people thought he was - Nuts ! He has a new baby on the way (or born now maybe) he apparently has a woman.. Maybe he'll be half-way happy. I always liked him and hoped the best for him. He has a light..

I think he's a great actor. Which is why it is so disturbing that he used his talent to portray an over-the-top evil Jewish stereotype in a movie, wildly popular in Turkey, that is so hyper-critical of the U.S. that it makes it look worse than the worst of Nazi Germany. The movie is an attack not on individuals or specific incidents or policy, but on the country as a whole, with "EVIL!" part of the national character.
"Iraq: Valley of the Wolves" - http://www.imdb.com/board/10493264/
If some Turks want to make a one-sided propaganda film, then whatever, that's their prerogative. But did Gary Busey really need the paycheck that badly?

He was thrown off a motorcycle when he wrecked and it caused permanent damage to the frontal lobe of the brain. This is the part of the brain that controls your impulses and censors your speech. None of it his fault!
I am eager for his future work.

Umhe was driving a motorcycle, possibly without a helmet, or so some other poster said. So yes, it IS his fault, technically. He made risky choices and had to suffer the unfortunate consequences.
