It is very sad that Red Bb68uttons is now gone, but what I find to be even more sad is that I've only seen him in two movies. He seemed to be a very easygoing and likable actor, very soft-spoken and thoughtful. I really enjoyed his compassionate performance as a mild-mannered passenger trying to survive in The Poseidon Adventure and also his cameo as Bruce Willis' dad in The Story of Us. Unfortunately, as I said, those are the only things I've seen him in, unless I count Pete's Dragon, which I saw so long ago that I don't even really remember Red in it. Hopefully Red Buttons will rest in peace with the other two famous comedians that shared his name and preceded him in death, Redd Foxx and Red Skelton.

Sad to hear that another of Hollywood's great actors has gone. It was a pleasure to watch him act. Unforgotten in Hatari! and The Poseidon Adventure.
God bless you, Red, and thanks for the memories!
