Not Surprising He's A Republican

Because the actors who are Democrats realize that not everyone is as lucky as they are and they help other people, republicans don't carethey only care about growing their bank account or the bank account of their friends
I'm all for helping people who are having a rough time get back on their feet, but Barack Obama wants to give checks to people who don't even pay taxes. Um, the government is broke and owes billions of dollars to China. Where is he getting this money? His argument is "Well, these people pay Social Security Taxes." Excuse me, but social security taxes are supposed to be for their retirement. Social Security is rapidly going broke too, and that'll be the next big crisis. He wants to dip into Social Security to give welfare checks to people who don't even pay taxes. I'm no economist, but that doesn't sound smart to me.
I give to charity when I can. I know that Dean is involved in a lot of charities too. He supports the Malibu Youth Foundation, The Joe Torry Foundation, Mendingkids, just to name a few. He also does a lot of charity celebrity basketball and baseball games, etc. He plays Celebrity Poker and "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" for charity. I'm all for people supporting good causes. You don't have to be a celebrity or a democrat or super rich to do it. -

Andb68 actually conservatives give to charities far more than liberals do.
I don't know how you got your answer, you should probably place your source but only as long as it's not from Fox News.
Also conservatives sometimes are the cause of some charities, like for example a homeless shelter specifically created only for homeless gay youth (conservative parents know what I'm talking about). -

By the same token you could say, actually more accurately, that liberals are the cause of the destruction of many communities and the cause of white flight from many communities. -

Dean is entitled to his political views and affiliation. Why are people changing their opinion on Dean Cain the person just because he is supporting a Republican candidate for president? Yes I admit I was a little bit disappointed at first that he's a McCain supporter, but isn't he's still the same guy? Let's not go down the same road that country fans went when the Dixie Chicks criticized Bush going into Iraq. Let's have some perpective here.

I never said Dean Cain couldn't have his own views. Of course he can, He's an American. I also never said my opinion of him changed. What I did say is it makes sense he supports a republican candidate.

I am an actor. Acting is not easy. Assume it's a musical or some sort of stage production. It's hard on you. Jumping around, dancing, singing, on a hot lit stage. Memorizing line after line after script after script. Cain is working on like 5 projects right now. THat means he could be going between states and even countries every week just to film something.
Acting is not an easy job, I garuntee it. -

Oh, billyxixyou don't know about what you are speaking, sir. Being an actor isn't easy at all. You clearly have had any substantial role at all if you're asserting such garbage.
Just some food for thought,
Peace, Y'all!

Oh pleasebeing a republican or democrat doesn't mean you're inherently a bad person. Just like I cant say all Republicans are privileged or all dems are weak.
This election is getting to people.
Christianity is not a religion, its a relationship with Christ. -

AgainI'll repeat myself for the kids who apparently aren't paying attention.
I didn't say he was a bad person for being a republican.
God I can't stand when people twist around words in a week attempt to make someone look bad.

your original post was an extremely negative statement about Republicans which is why others are making their statements to you. You've back pedaled on(or "twisted") your original statement. Like I told you before grow up

Many, but not all liberals, are idiots. You're one of the idiots. When Barack Obama gives all of the 'not priveleged' people handouts, it gives them less incentive to work. Less incentive to work means social stupidity and less stimulation of the economy.
Why should Obama increase taxes on those who DO work hard and hand it to the ones who are lazy, didn't go to college, or dropped out of high school? Why is Obama increasing taxes on small buisinesses? This lays people off, especially since he's raising minimum wage, which creates less jobs.
It's so incredibly easy to understand.
What about all of the celebrities that DO support Barack Obama and ARE democrats? There's actually much more rich celebrities who are democrats than republicans. Get your facts straight. -

Dean has repeatedly said he is not a staunch Republican (translation, a neo conservative is probably what he meant). There's nothing wrong with being Republican, right now though, its has a bad connotation in regards to last few Republican presidents and the crazy pundits at Fox News.
Being a Republican just means you believe in small government. b68The Republicans have decades ago are not the same as the ones now (that goes for Democrats too).

It is sad that people actually think the democrats are for the working person. All you have to do is just look at their ideologies and what they support.
Instead, the democrats should claim to be "The party for the non-working and the illegals."
After all, those are the only ones they support with their give aways.
