Capshaw doesnt need to work, which is a good thing, she takes care of their 5 children that should keep her away from acting, which is a break for us.
Amy Irving has held up very well and still does excellent work in film. She was good in Tuck Everlasting(2002) and the Alibi series, also in the superb movie, Traffic(2000) with a host of A list actors. Take a look at recent photo of Amy, she is still great looking!

Hey, you could tell listening to Kate CASHshaw speak in interviews even before she cheated with STEALberg that she wasn't classy.
Oh my God, "CASHshaw" instead of Capshaw and "STEALberg" instead of Spielberg, lol I get it! Man, that's frickin' hilarious. And the CAPS; brilliant. They put the emphasis on the funny part. -

I also read another ve2000rsion that they got together soon after she was cast in "Temple of Doom" after Amy and Steven had broken up (Amy had had an affair with Willie Nelson, which is why they broke up). But then Amy and Steven got back together again and got married. When Amy and Steven broke up for good, then Steven and Kate got back together again.

Amy split up with Spielberg around 1979, when she was sleeping around with Willie Nelson. This break up resulted in Irving not getting the role of Marion RavenwoodDamn if I were her, I would just sleep with him just to get the role!
Anyway they seperated while Capshaw and Spielberg were together in TOD, and got back together in 1984I have a lot of respect for Irving and like her films but her choices in husbands are quite questionable. (she was chasing after Brian DePalma while doing Carrie- costar Nancy Allen got him). -

Nope, Speilberg left Irving for Capshaw, it was a pretty well known fact back in the day. That is why Amy walked with the tune of 100mil or something like that. I don't dislike Capshaw for stealing Speilberg, it takes 2, however, her acting is HORRIBLE and even with Steven as a husband she can't get a job lol. Thank God he wised up and kept her out of his films, she ruined Temple of Doom with her non existing acting skillsugh

OP is wrong . He was not married to Irving during his affair with Capshaw.
He didnt marry Irving until 1985 ,they divorced in 1989 and then he hooked up with Capshaw again and married her in 1991 . More like Capshaw was a passing boink and then after Irving was too much of a bittch to get along with dumped her to get with Capshaw again
