Spielberg was married to Amy Irving during the filming of Temple Of Doom.
If you watch the behind-the-scenes footage from the DVD, it was pretty obvious that Spielberg and Capshaw were messing around. They were flirting with each other a little too much. Was that Capshaw's motive? Who knows?
That Family Guy scene is dead-on as far as I'm concerned. But Amy Irving got a nice settlement I think.
He was not married to Amy Irving during filming - they got married a yr later.

HAD A NICE AFFAIR WITH SPIELBERG WHILE HE WAS STILL MARRIED TO Amy Irving.. Embarrassing for Amy because she was the last to 111cfind out. When she did it was overShe received one of the largest settlements in Hollywood historygood for her. Well, Capshaw and Spielberg rightfully deserve each otherCapshaw hasnt done anything for 4-5 years, and those in the know in tinsletown dont think she ever was good at her craft. Appeared in "A Girl Thing" (2002) with Elle Mcpherson. Take a look at lesbian scene below, paste and enter in server window.

Capshaw doesnt need to work, which is a good thing, she takes care of their 5 children that should keep her away from acting, which is a break for us.
Amy Irving has held up very well and still does excellent work in film. She was good in Tuck Everlasting(2002) and the Alibi series, also in the superb movie, Traffic(2000) with a host of A list actors. Take a look at recent photo of Amy, she is still great looking!

What? you think it would be hot? from a previous post of yours about the "gay shower scene" in Midnight Express.
"did they really need to show this? i didnt get the point of it. and btw, if you even think about responding with a "homophobe" comment, there is no such thing as being a homophobe. its a wrong behaviour and lifestyle in normal society and everyone knows it, especially when you are a person of Faith and believe that it is wrong (as if it wasnt obvious enough even to a person of no faith). thats so typical to call ppl "homophobes" for diagreeing with that lifestyle, and frankly, im tired of it. and no, i would have felt the same even if it was 2 women, i am not biased like tha1ebct even though im a guy. wrong is wrong, any way you cut it.
so much for the whole "i am not biased like that" bit huh -

It doesn't suprise one bit that you didn't like American Psycho, brownstain33. You can't enjoy a movie unless it was made with kids in mind.
Plus, you're one gigantic moron.

Well you've admitted your a person who hates people who are different than your so called idea of what is normal.Homosexuality is not a behavior or a lifestyle anymore than heterosexuality is a behavior or lifestyle. You're born with it - it's who you you are not what you are and it's as normal as anything else. Bringing religion into it is pure b/s - I'm not going to even go that way and open that up or I could write endless paragraphs on what I think about religion.
And so now your a hypocrite too . LOL. Nice try Potsie.

Capshaw was rumored to have landed the role of Willie Scott based on her talent in the sack rather then any acting ability.
Probably true since a lot of the pics with Capshaw and Spielberg on the set show them to very close and holding hands ,also conversations with crew and other minor cast members confirm the affair. Course he did get married to Amy Irving a yr after the movie came out so he might have just been banging Capshaw as a last gasp of freedom before marrying the ice queen. In 89 he divorced her and in 91 married Capshaw.
