She might be pretty, but she was the most annoying Indianna Jones character EVER. It was really depressing knowing that no matter how many times her shriekish voice yelled out when in danger she would never die. I would have liked the movie much more if she would have fallen off of the bridge or into that lava pit.

She had to be annoying. That's the point of the movie. They wanted a rich uptight girl in the jungle and stuff so they would have funny situations. I understand that many people didn't find it funny though.

The only time I "liked" seeing her turn up in anything is the movie "Love Affair" (1994) with Annete Benning and Warren Beaty. Her character in that was a bitch, and she played it well.
She t5b4ries. But personally, I would not consider her for anything, as her acting is to "forced" She comes across like Well, you know how in the Rocketeer with the movie within the movie the gal who swoons over Timothy Dalton? "Only if you would drink from my lips as deeply?" or what ever the line is? Well, that's what comes to mind. She ACTS like she's acting

I did like her as Winona Ryder's mom in "How to Make an American Quilt." I sometimes wonder whether Spielberg decided to go with a female villain in "The Last Crusade" simply because Kate's character was so disliked. If the leading lady couldn't step into Karen Allen's shoes, maybe he just figured it was better to go with someone the audience was SUPPOSED to hate.
