Mariah is biracial which is how she identifies herself. I knew she was racially- mixed the first time I saw her. She DOES have a black eye shape and facial bone structure. She has a black person's nose (before surgery). She has curly hair which is common in racially-mixed people and her skincolor has a yellowish undertone which is common among racially-mixed people with a light skintone. In the U.S., she is considered black.

I've pointed out that is not an indication of her having African heritage because her curly hair is the texture of white people.
