I read someone saying that John Cassavetes doesn't like Bresson's films. Does anyone have a quote they can direct to me about this? I'm interested and can't seem to find anything. I consider both of them to be possibly the greatest filmmakers of all time.

I haven't seen a quote but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Bresson's style of film making is completely antithetical to Cassavettes, especially when it comes to the treatment of actors. Cassavettes felt the actors were the center point and pushed for truthful, emotionally honest performances while Bresson stripped his actors of overt emotion. So I can certainly imagine he disliked Bresson.
Though he didn't care for a lot of the major art directors. Godard, Antinioni, and Kubrick he also didn't seem to like any. Much as I love his films, John could be somewhat, narrow, in his view of what film should be.
