Not many people have their entire filmography nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. It's hard to believe that any of his performances weren't nominated though, especially Godfather II. Such a talent.

I was going to post basically the same thing. This hot streak of roles will probably never be equalled.
Legendary, but it is a distinction that I doubt anyone would want to try for because it likely also requires dying too soon.
