My brother and I still joke about this years later. I know we aren't the only ones who have thought this, great actor notwithstanding.

        Well, who would've known?
        Sensitive, are we? Wonder why.

I'm just sayingthe guy was like really bald lolIf you're going to make a joke at least have it make sense.the guy had a huge receding hairline and he grew out his hair for the roleanyone's head would look bigger if they were forced to grow out their hair and were half way bald.Just defending this guy no need to make fun of a cool guy like him 😞

It's cool but yes, I can see what you're saying. Growing the hair out like that made his forehead look much better. May John Cazale rest in peace. Just making an observation.

Sidney Lumet says on dog day directors cut that John Cazale was perfect for the part of Al Pacino's accomplice. The real person he was portraying was 15 years old but he had a certain vulnerability even though he looked 32 years old. It's amazing he only appeared in Godfather parts one and two, Dog Day Afternoon and his last credited role the Deer Hunter. He was very good actor he really was. and he did bear a resemblance to the late Marlon Brando.
