Thanks, I think Elias Koteas would be the best out of your Cazale options? Appearance wise anyway and Naomi Watts for5b4 Meryl Streep defo!
Would be a good biopic if it was made! Hopefully it will be some day

Yeah I'm surprised I never thought of Elias Koteas until just recently. He looks so much like John Cazale, and he could play him very well I'm 16d0sure.
I love South Park! Matt and Trey are genius! JR -

There's this young Broadway actor named James Snyder who really reminds me John Cazale as far as looks; he's actually way more handsome than John, but something about his face (especially the eyesvery important) captures the 'essence' of John(In fact, after seeing rare footage of John 'out of character' in the documentary of his life, he really was oddly handsome). As for Meryl Streep, the perfect actress for the role would be Jennifer Ehle. She is a classic, serene beauty, who has often been compared to Meryl Streep in both looks and talent. In fact, her mother, Rosemary Harris, played Streep's mother-in-law in the miniseries "Holocaust".
Yeah, they're dead, they'reall messed up. -

He was such a unique man, it's hard to think of anyone being able to play him, but I'm going to go with Steve Buscemi. He is a brilliant actor and looks similar in bone structure to Cazale, just with paler skin/hair and blue-eyed.

agree buscemi the whole way, and abe vigoda can play himself, the man ever ages lol
but as a twist how about robert dinero play marlon brando? he won an oscar for becoming the don in earlier life, damn sure he can do justice to brando himself

Mark Strong, Elias Koteas, or maybe even Hank Azaria. I'm seeing a little bit of Azaria. Azaria has a bigger chin, but typically when Hollywood makes a bio-pic, they go for essence of the main subject as opposed to similarities in facial features. A la Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. Plus, Azaria can2000 do voices, so that could help with the different performances Cazale gave. I say Hank Azaria.
