Imagine any actor being able to say that every movie they were ever in was nominated for Best Picture, and three of them won? Cazale could.

Too bad his career was cut short enough that he didn't have any flops 😞
I am shocked, shocked to find that gambling goes on in here!

I agree. Cazale has the finest filmography in the business. Every single one of his 1970s films is a masterpiece. He was an absolutely brilliant actor and a true CLASS ACT.

I just remembered that James Dean too had a perfect record too.

I'll argue that his record was 6/6 (Best Picture nominations) - he also appeared in Godfather III, of course in archive footage.

well he was in 4 (or 3, haven't really seen him in The Day) great films, but he also appeared in a lot of TV and forgotten films

That's very true. Had he lived longer, of course, there's a good chance he might have been in a dud or two but I'm sure it wouldn't have been his fault. What a great actor and a tremendous loss to us all.

Yeah he has a perfect filmography, and he's a fantastic actor, but had he lived longer, he would have no doubt had duds. The 90's and 00's have not been kind to other legendary actors like De Niro and Pacino.
