When you go to the doctor…

Most of the time a nurse practitioner. Every once in a while they put me in with an M.D. depending on availability. I feel the same way that a lot of the nurses seem to know just as much and I get better answers to some things.
Although one place I actually always see the actual doctor is Gastroenterologist or any specialist except Dermatology. I even see a Nurse Practitioner there to do my yearly skin checks and she is great! -

NPs are basically almost doctors. My primary care doctor is a NP.
I like some doctors. My mom's former nephrologist is kinda like family to us. I don't know if it's the Muslim culture, but Middle Eastern doctors seem to be better and nicer in my experience. -
