Do the Coen's films have memorable black characters?

I saw Intolerable Cruelty for about the third time the other day (some funny scenes, but not nearly my favorite Coen Bros film). While watching Cedric The Entertainer chew up the scenery, it occurred to me that there are few, if any, black characters in Coen Bros films.
I've seen every Coen Brothers film I'm sure, but I'm not obsessed with them. Can a more ardent fan help me out with this. Have there been many black characters in Coen Bros that were not more than bit parts?
Edit: OK, I just remembered The Ladykillers. That was such a bad movie, I must have blocked it out. What about others? -

I have just watched Blood Simple now, for the first time. The black bartender, whose name is Meurice is very memorable, probably because
he seems to be the only sane person in the whole movie.
. The rest of the cast is great too, especially Emmet Walsh. -

Marva Munson, from The Ladykillers
Sheriff Wyner, from The Ladykillers
Othar, from The Ladykillers
The Blind Seer, from O Brother Where Art Thou
The singing gravediggers, from O Brother Where Art Thou
Memorable, but kinda annoying:
Gawain, from The Ladykillers.
Fairly low-key:
Meurice, from Blood Simple.
Tommy, from O Brother Where Art Thou
Moses, from The Hudsucker Proxy -

Sure, there was the blind man in O Brother Where Art Thou, the old woman in Ladykillers and the janitor in Hudsucker Proxy
Not very prominent characters, it would be interesting to see a Coens film with a black lead actor.
