Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs web68re best friends for almost 30yrs and it appears as if Holly has completely abandoned Shannen throughout her cancer battle.
She hasn't posted any support publicly for Shannen whereas countless other friends of hers (Sarah Michelle Cellar for example) have helped raise awareness and show support to Shannen via social media.
I know some people would reach out privately, but come on photographed together often for over 30yrs and then NOTHING when Shannen has been papped/shared her story via social media a lot throughout the cancer battle.
Shannen also said to Chelsea Handler that when she told her best friend of her diagnosis, her best friend basically abandoned her! -

Maybe she is anti-social media like a lot of people are or have become and Shannon respects Holly's privacy. Holly has always been private in the media about her kids, ex-husbands. She might be going to chemo sessions with Shannon for all you know. Maybe Holly 5b4is their for Shannon in way more important ways then taking pics with her on instagram. Shannon has other close, former child now adult, fameous actor/actress friends for over 30 plus years and I don't see them posting on social media. It's possible they call her, go to her house, visit her in the hospital, take her out to make her feel good. Cancer is a fickle bitch and yes, people do abandon friends and family who get it because they can't handle it or are just too self-involved. Just because Alyssa Milano (who had a contentious relationship on Charmed with Shannon) sent out a tweet of support shouldn't devalue Holly as a friend, whom everyone knows is way closer to Shannon. SMG is very active on social media so it's different maybe for her.

this was the opposite of what I heard, re Instagram etc I thought I read, but even if so, we do not know the more recent history..
as y16d0ou say, there was a long-standing historical friendshipI heard an allegation of Holly vs Alyssa Milano which I don't really believe anyway, and I have my doubts about this.
Now, Shannen and Alyssa, and Shannen vs Jennie Garth,or even vs Gabrielle Cartaris (Gabrielle Who?? ) those I DO believe are real, but turns out both Alyssa and JG chimed in good wishes and support for SD at this recent crisis.
