Patti D'Arbanville is one of my favorite character actresses, and her often dark blonde hair and beautiful face can easily be recognized on TV and screen. To those familiar with Patti, she began her career at a very young age as a model and then working under Andy Warhol. In the early days of her career, she spent much of her time in France before returning to America to make movies and TV shows. The best thing about Patti is that she carries scenes with a heart of gold, and when necessary, a great sense of humor, which was evident in "The Main Event," where she made us laugh with a hacking cigarette cough. In the 1990s, she starred as Lt. Virginia Cooper on Fox's gritty "New York Undercover." She also has been linked romantically to celebrities such as Cat Stevens and Don Johnson, who she says is still a friend. She certainly has come a long way from Andy Warhol and succeeded with it. Happy 60th birthday, Patti. May you have more blessed years to come.
