I remember a John Waters interview where he claimed Cecil B. DeMille was a foot fetishist. Was this him just being silly or is there any tabloid "proof" or this? Or is this some unfounded Clara Bow-esque story? Not wanting to sound sleazy, but I like old school Hollywood scandals/weirdness, so I was just wondering if anyone had any info on this.

My personal favorite scandal is still the Clara Bow one. Was it supposedly the USC defensive line? Or was it another college? And was it JUST the defensive line? Because if it was the whole team, ten bucks says they made the placekicker go last!

I was just reading a book at a bookstore today of weird factoids about Hollywood directors, and the fact that Demille was a "Raging" foot fetishist was on the cover.
According to the book, one of Demille's famous ex-lovers claimed to never have had traditional relations with him. Demille would just lick her feet.
Also according to this book, Paulette Goddard got her role in "Northwest Mounted Police" simply by walking into his office and putting her bare foot on his desk.
