Unrecognizable

"You're right. Her own parents wouldn't be able to pick her out of a lineup sadly. These woman apparently can't stop themselves from militating their faces and bodies.
It's sad and unnecessary."
How is it sad? Is Kim feeling "sad" about it? Having a facelift is not mutilation, only to an aging soccer-mom like yourself maybe.
And yes, keeping young is necessary in this business, like keeping weight off should your business. -

She looks completely different in the photo at the top of this page. Her cheeks are different, like she has had some lower cheek implants or something. And, my own mother had a brain injury, and after looking at a picture of my sister who had had a face lift, my mother said "that's not my daughter". So you see, it is possible to alter your face so much that your own (brain damaged) mom can't even recognize you. We are all supposed to believe that these surge5b4ries make you look "younger", but in fact they just make you look weird. I DO think it's sad that so many actresses feel the need to put implants or whatever it is into their cheeks. Many actresses age naturally and gracefully, and you can still see who they are. That's the way I'm going to go!

I remember her from "All My Children" when she played Jenny Garner. When I saw the recent news item I wasn't sure she was the same person until I checked the IMDb profile. Aesthetic plastic surgery should be outlawed!

When I saw her on L&O I had no idea who she was. Listen people get older but they do not change their features..People recognize me from 30 years easily. Michael Jackson was the most famous purveyor of plastic surgery this person cannot be far behind. Or maybe she was injured and had to have face reconstruction.

I'm a fan of Michael Jackson but even I would have to admit that he had had too much plastic surgery. I don't think Kim Delaney was anywhere near as bad as Michael Jackson with the plastic surgery.
I agree, facial features are usually recognizable even after thirty years so she probably had some work done on her. The rest could conceivably be weight gain and psychological changes that almost always takes it's toll on youthful sprightliness.

Kim Delaney is most likely using Premarin, the estrogen replacement drug made from pregnant mare urine, hence the name.
Premarin was originally used for post-menopausal women to lessen the chances of fractured pelvises and femurs as osteoporosis is an effect of menopause.
Women noticed the increase in body temperature caused weight loss and combated vaginal dryness. Soon women were using Premarin for cosmetic and sexual reasons. Premarin is a widely prescribed drug and is at the heart of the "cougar" phenomena.

I just saw her 2007 "Law & Order SVU" episode, and I recognized her right away.
She looked rather good, in fact.
Her IMDb headshot doesn't look much like her though! Did she have more surgery since 2007?

I've slways liked her. Was a huge fan of NYPD Blue. She was great as Diane Russell. I know she's had personal problems and there are plenty of stories about her drinking.
It's good to see she has some support here. I hope she is well. Looks like she hasn't worked in quite a while.
