Awwwwww, nirefly! That's so sad. Damn that evil Tony, and damn Greg for letting he5b4r ride his Jetski. Let's face it: if God had to call one of them to the pearly gates, I'd much rather he called Greg there first, and leave Jenny to help us get over the shock.

That was definitely a golden age. Greg-Jenny, Tad-Hillary, Angie-Jesse. AMC was never the same after that. Of course, I was never 12 again either

I just found about 7 or 8 old copies of 1980's Soap Opera Digests and I have 2 with Greg & Jenny covers. Brought back memories. I was in high school when Kim came on as Jenny & I still remember her first scene w/Dorothy Lyman on a bus on their way to Pine Valley so Opal could sponge off of the Martins. How she made Jenny work at Foxy's! Remember that outfit..w/the tail & everything!
The SODs really bring you back. One of them is right around prom when Liza tells Jenny about Ray raping Ruth and Jenny flees to New York. Still hoping Kim gets another series regular role on TV. I'm a Philly guy so you know we love her here!

Check the other threads, mtaylor-54. She's starring on Army Wives on the Lifetime Network. It was postponed until late spring, but it is definitely going to be aired. People say it is similar to The Unit. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Is there any way to rewatch some of those Jenny/Greg scenes? I know Proctor & Gamble is allowing people to download for free old episodes of "Another World" (a soap in which Laurence "Greg Nelson" Lau played on eventually) from 1980 and I wonder if something similar could happen with "All My Children". How about youtube? Is there anything that is available to view?

There are onl2000y two clips featuring Jenny on YouTube. One is a clip of Liza telling Jenny that Tad slept with her mom, the other a retrospective of AMC with a few clips of Jenny and Greg. Disappointing. I keep searching, but that's all I have found so far.

I just watched that entire season when Jenny died. My mom has it all taped KIM was AWESOME My mom said Opal left because she went on to some show called Mommy's Family, and it bombed.. looks like not a smart move on her part.

Oh my gosh! It crushed me when they killed Jenny off the show. You would have thought I lost a close relative! I still see "Opal" on the reruns of "Mama's Family".

I remember I was so happy when the finally got Greg and Jenny together. I had the chicken pox while they were on their honeymoon and it was great because I had a reason to stay home and watch it! Then, they killed her. I was so upset I swore off soap operas and can say to this day that I don't watch any of them. I kept telling myself-they aren't real people! But the writers never let anyone be happy! I do still watch shows with her though. She has been one of my favorites since I was a teenager!

                      Chandler: Does it matter?!

They did bring Jenny back as a ghost for a few episodes back in the mid-1990s when Tad was going through something. Also they brought Ray Gardner back now that guy can give you nightmares.

I can't even looked the actress now. I did not even realize that was her on L&O until later on. Looks like hard living unfortunately took toll on her. But she was so pretty years ago. Actually I loved her with Jessie more then I did with that stiff Greg, but that was not going to happen. I hoped when they brought back Jessie and Angie they might have thrown Jenny in the mix too or at least shown so flashbacks. Even though jessie did talk about her to Liza Colbys daughter. She probably will remain dead forever which is odd for a Soap Opera. lol

I'd have to agree with everyone. This was one of the BEST storylines ever in soap opera worldnot excluding Luke & Laura.
I remember when Jenny died. I was in TEARS and I don't cry over tv shows LOL.
I actually work with her brother and there have been soooo many times I've wanted to tell him how much I loved her on AMC but I'm sure he's heard that 982 million times. Actually I just want him to tell her that I want to meet Mariska Hargitay since they are pretty much best friends along with Hillary Swank. They're like the 3 amigos.

I loved and adored Jenny Gardner Nelson. Jenny was such a awesome character. To this day, she is still one of my all-time favorite TV characters and Greg/Jenny are still one of my all-time favorite TV couples.
