I don't know if it is just me, but my lips get huge when I cry - Kim's character has alot to cry about lately, and maybe it is just thatjust something to considerI think she still looks beautiful - not Wildensteinish or Rinnaish - even if she has had injections I don't feel it's excessive - she certainly doesn't look like Shauna Sand or Jenna Jameson, but, by the same token, I know she wouldn't want people to be distracted from her acting soley from her lipsshe is the queen of continuity, and the epitome of perfection - I have seen this woman work, and believe me, she would be pissed if she thought her lips were a distraction away from the storyline -

I also thought that it was due to the explosion. I mean, she's definitely still beautiful, but I did notice she looked a tad different. She's a wonderful actress all the same, so, you know, who really cares. Kathy, where and on what have you seen her work?

I was also wondering if her swollen lips were supposed to be an injury caused by the explosion or some cosmetic procedure. Whenever there was a scene with her in Sundays episode (June 15th), I was so distracted by her lips, I missed parts of the dialogue.

I hope it wears off (those injections have to be repeated regularly, right?). She looked younger without it. I've actually always thought she was too young to be the mother of a college-age daughter, and was surprised to log on and see that she was born in 1958 or 1961. The real Kim is much more beautiful than the doctored Kim.

Her lips had a different look for a bit that could be interpreted as being swollen from the accident. I want to mention one thing though. Everyone keeps talking about what they see as flaws & actors read these boards & the comments can hurt even though they are not meant to. So please think about what you're putting out there knowing the actual person might be reading what you're writing during their down time on the set. It could hurt to read that.
She looks great as they all do on the show. I really love the story line & it's hooked me in w/the reruns. For some reason it didn't initially grab me and I am a Kim Delaney fan. But, when the reruns started I started again w/it & I am so hooked it's on to tape everytime it's on so I won't miss it. -

Ok, first of all I really don't think that Kim Delany is sitting down with a cup of coffee in front of her computer, checking out the IMDB message board to see the latest gossip posted about herlol. And yes, her lips look way over-injected. She is so naturally beautiful, I really don't see why she needs to do that to herself. It's a shame, but I guess actresses these days feel so much pressure to stay young looking.

I was just watching a re-run of last night's show and thought "here is another one gone and messed with her lips" she looked fine before, now she is just another sheep in the herd with the botox or whatever she has had. Her lips look horrid, like someone else said like she has been stung by 1000 bees

I agree with most of the posters. Her lips have been way over-injected and are VERY, VERY distracting. I hope she is reading this Kim, you are so naturally beautiful, you don't need to add anything artificial to yourself. PLEASE don't have your lips injected again.

I agree that she looked much better before she did this to her lips, if there is any way to reverse it lets hope she does. they are very distracting, the bottom lip is okay but the top is too big at the sides and the middle has become horizontal. it also affects her speach and the way she says words.
