I figured my cold-shoulder of Blonde would get a mention. It has some great tracks, but that stream of consciousness kind of poetry doesn't appeal to me. Highway 61 has a controlled atmosphere woven into the chaos and that's what draws me to it. I don't get that kind of feeling with Blonde.
There's a small band of Dylan follwers underwhelmed by
          Blonde on Blonde
. I don't mind admitting it: you people scare me!

His Blonde on Blonde type of music is mostly parodied, the stream of consciousness style. I personally love it, I wish he hadn't pushed so hard during his 1966 tour, I loved that album and would have loved to hear more of the same.

Hey, that's nothing - not only do I think
              Blonde on Blonde
is massively over-rated, I also think
              Knocked Out Loaded
              is really good!
And perhaps one day, if I behave, the doctors will let me out of here!

                Hehe. I've not heard
                Knocked out Loaded

                • yet, but I have been warned. Having said that, I rather like
                  Down in the Groove
                  , so who knows?
                  And doesn't KOL include
                  Brownsville Girl
                  ?

                  Sure does have
                  Brownsville Girl
, and what a corker it is. It's also got Bob Dylan doing reggae, which has to be heard to be believed!
                  Down In The Groove
is one of the very few studio Bob studio albums I don't have yet, but I do intend to pick it up one day.

                        I also think
                        Isis
                        is better than
                        Hurricane
                        . Arguably so is
                        Black Diamond Bay
. And my favourite track of the album is
One More Cup Of Coffee (Valley Below)
                        .

I remember reading somewhere that he felt the track was incomplete and that's why he left it off the album. I don't know where he could have improved it. It sounds perfect the way it is.
