Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Jack Elam

I'm looking for a very short-lived sitcom that Elam was in where he co-starred with Jeffrey Kramer. Elam's character played a Frankenstein part who lived in an old hotel. The show was on in '79 from Sept. 19 to Oct. 6 and as far as I know, 3 eps. where shown in the U.S. and 6 were shown in Europe. I'd really like to get this as a gift to my Grandfather. He fondly remembers the show and would really like to see it again. If anyone out there even has an old copy on VHS I'd like to trade you for it or something.
    🙂

I remember this show! Just barelyI wasn't very old, and it wasn't on, for very long - but I wouldn't even have known the title, if you hadn't reminded me.

I would really like to find it. I'm sure its like looking for a needle in a haystack, but he said that it was really funny and it would be great if I could come across it.

You should try making a query on the Rare Video Network:
          http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/Rare_Video_Network/?yguid=91996888
Somebody might have it or know where it could be obtained.

I don't have it, but I'd love to. I thought Jack's lines in this show where the funniest I'd ever heard him say
"I started out with normal eyes - another hunnard years and I'll look like a goldfish!"
