Poor snake. It's terrified and can't do anything about it.

The things animals go through so people can put themselves on social media.

So much ^^THIS^^! I absolutely hate what animals go through for the sake of humans. I'm not even a fan of when people put their pets in little costumes. I understand some situations like pajamas after a grooming (like that family that fosters 15 dogs, - the one where I post their "grooming experiences" in the shower, how good they are to
          all
          of their dogs
          and
their little horses, goats and cows!)
And then the poor critters out in the wild just going about their day (like that snake, minding his own business) getting assaulted and startled while being jumped on. Poor fella probably had a panic attack so this guy could get clicks on social media.

It serves them right when animals strike back.
I have no sympathy for animal 'trainers' and people like Steve Irwin.

Steve Irwin wasn't out in the wild trying to "train" animals. He was teaching us about wild animals and what their natural life was like. There are some wonderful people out there that dedicate their lives to the preservation and safety of wild animals.

Wild animals deserve respect and to be left alone unless in need of help.

There is this channel that I follow that takes care of wild elephants because they interact with the people in the village and wander into their area. Sometimes the elephants get gored by other elephants or shot by the farmers, so groups of vets and volunteers will track them down in the wild, sedate them, and remove bullets, clean out wounds, give them antibiotics and mark them so that they can keep an eye on them and check on them routinely to see how they're healing. They help them to heal and just leave them alone to carry on as usual. Sometimes they have to do surgery in the field if an elephant gets injured really badly, but they all do this on a volunteer basis, and the people in the village also volunteer their time to assist them to keep the elephants safe and healthy.

It's sad to see them in so much pain, but when I watch them get so close to the elephants (and they're always barefoot, which again, wow, I can't imagine!). I feel so bad for the pain they must be in. But I like the way everyone comes together to allow the elephants to continue their natural lives. Everyone pitches in together to keep the few vets they have safe, since not many are trained for animals this large. They all have a symbiotic relationship.
