If I had to choose I would say one silent, one talkie even if it hard.
For silents I would go for "Woman of Affairs" with John Gilbert and for talkies "Camille" with Robert Taylor. These films catch Garbo at her vey best I believe both as an actress, icon and personnality. -

"Queen Christina" is fantastic! The "bedroom scene" is wonderful. ("Years from now, in my memory I will live in this room.")
Another favorite is "The Mysterious Lady." Greta at the height of her beauty and intrigue. The entire opening "act" is just impossibly beautiful. And unlike many of her early vehicles, where SHE was the only good thing about the film (but of course so mesmserizing that she somehow did make the entire movie good), the plot and her leading man, Conrad Nagel, are also outstanding.
