I think he got better as he got older.

I think Garner was good. He was versatile in comedy, action roles and dramas. I think Garner was the type who was taken for granted because he made it look so easy. Garner admits in his autobiography that he had to work very hard to make it look so simple.

Movie star, not an actor. I have nothing against him. I enjoy his stuff. Was funny. Among his best were Barbarians at the Gate and Promise.
