Yeah, she's freakin' old. Deal with it.
    Yes, that means
    you're old too
And yeah, I can say that, I'm older than Heather is so, if you don't like it, "osculate my posterior".
    As far as
"The youth of today are so shallow and disrespectful"
    :
    BWAAAAAAAhahahahhahahahahaaaa!!! "What a maroon".
Shall I dig up the same words quoted in
    Ancient Greek
    for you?
Seriously. That you think this attitude is "new" is one of the things that makes you OLD.
    And I got some
    big news
    for you: There was
    a time
when getting older was something worthy of respect. When not paying attention got you mauled by a tiger, when screwing up just a little bit got you an injury that, today, is trivial, but back then
    killed you
. you see, BACK THEN, making it to "old age" was a real
    accomplishment
    .
    Nowadays?
    Any idiot can do it.
So being "old" does not automatically deserve respect any more. It proves that you've managed to actually figure out how to cross the street a few thousand times without getting run over by a bus.
Wow, that was tough! You da MAN!!
    So, once again,
    get over yourself
    .
The world is about the young. They don't have to repeat our screwups.

P.S., the OP is right, she is still friggin' hot for her age.

CorumJI says "The world is about the young" - Uh, yeah, because the young run the governments, aerospace centers, hospitals, police stations, emt, the teaching world, costruction companies, etc. You're a MORON. I don't care how old you are. I'm 24, and my Grandparents are in their late 80's. Both are healthy, excercise daily, drink on weekends (socially). They have property and money saved. You really think the young run this world? 40 is the old age of youth and the youth of old age. I met Heather Graham at a party last year and she is more beautiful than most overtanned, underfed, obeses, etc.. teenage and young twenties girls. CorumJI, YOU ARE OLD. Have fun in your rocking chair yelling at kids on your lawn while my grandparents go hiking in the Rockies. Dumbass

Corum, if you are in your 40's and write like that, you're the biggest case of arrested development ever
I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.

"The world is about the young"
Actually from the aspect of economics and power (and since you like to generalize so much), the world is still about men in their 40's and 50's.
"They don't have to repeat our screwups".
Our screwups? Who made you the spokes person for an entire generation?
Hopefully you do not impart your "wisdom" on your "Youngin" kin folk, so at least they learn how to spell "screw ups"
"And I got some big news for you: There was a time when getting older was something worthy of respect. When not paying attention got you mauled by a tiger, when screwing up just a little bit got you an injury that, today, is trivial, but back then killed you. you see, BACK THEN, making it to "old age" was a real accomplishment.

Wow a lifetime living in the trailer park has really got to you!
So let me get this straight. Old people should no longer be automatically granted respect because they no longer have to watch out for tigers? LOL too funny, have you ever thought of going into professional comedy? I heard that tiger jokes go down great with the over 40 crowd. You could end your set with the oldie but goodie jokes, such as "why did the old man cross the road?" or the all time classic "how to race little old ladies with strollers for the last seat on the bus". Hoo haaa, you will have them rolling in the aisles (or maybe that is your sidekick removing the brakes on the wheel chairs).
Just for the record CorumJI, so there is no confusion. YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
Oh and Heather Graham is still gorgeous.

I bet you're just a angry little virgin of 17, nothing more.

Very well written. Sadly the morons who replied to you dont have the brain power to understand what you wrote. You are on point. Young people are the future and the present.
You are completely right about respect and getting old. Most older people demand respect because of their age. Thats not how it works anymore. Age means nothing anymore in terms of respect. Youth is learning that you earn peoples respect with actions not age.

                  NO
Most cultures have reverence of, and deference to, their elders.
It is not 'demanded', it is
                  commanded
                  .
Generation Wuss, they of the 9th place ribbon, has a lot to learn.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

"So old"? Ridiculous, although the three posters above me made the point perfectly well. 41 is only considered old to little children.

As the other posters have said, 41 is not "so old". My husband and I both agree she is gorgeous and better looking than most girls we know in their 20's.

                              Suggestion:
Before you make really dumb comments, try actually bothering to look at her listing. There's at least two roles of significant note, probably three Certainly Boogie Nights and The Spy Who Shagged me are significant and got her a lot of notice. Bowfinger isn't a minor movie, either.
And her "small roles" include Swingers, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Six Degrees of Separation, and Lost In Space, all movies of some critical note, the first of which got her a lot of attention, along with Boogie Nights.
I think it's pretty clear who "Private Stupid" is on this message thread.

Her plastic surgery is very minimal and if there was any, it probably happened before she had her big break.
Her youthful looks are because she seems to take very good care of her skin: she's been photographed using a parasol to protect her lovely skin from the evil sun and I'm sure she wears sunscreen. Probably indulges in a tasteful amount of botox and fillers as well, which certainly isn't plastic surgery.

She isn't 'old', and I'm in my 20's saying that. However, she does look literally half her age. She looks amazing.
Though I do agree, age means nothing as long as you take care of yourself. You have people like Heather who is in her 40's and looks to be in her 20's. Then you have people like Lindsay Lohan who is 25 and looks 55. It all depends on the person.
Age is a number. I have seen many women in Hollywood who look better in their 40's and beyond, than half the 20=-somethings in Hollywood (Monica Belluci comes to mind).
"I don't believe that man has
                                          ever
                                          been to medical school"
