Anyone ever saw Heather Graham in a better role than Annie in Twin Peaks S2? She was just marvellous, wasn't she?

They brought in Heather to replace one of the three beauties (Audrey, Shelly, Donna) who was likely to be killed off in season 3. But they never made it to season 3.

My impression of her is plastic lollipop kind of Hollywood actress, but in Twin Peaks, she's one of the most naturally beautiful women ever. In the episode where David Lynch himself kissed Shelly (Madchen Amick), who's the centre of the beauty landscape on the show, I think Heather was nicer.

As you said, one of the most naturally beautiful women ever, right down to the 1950's brassiere.
But after Twin Peaks, she lost too much weight, changed some other things and she was never the same. I am always disappointed when young women allow themselves to be talked, coerced, bullied into losing what makes them special and trying to fit the current fad or fashion. It also seems that when a young actress plays an innocent, virginal character like Annie, she feels somehow compelled to follow that up by playing a b****, or a murderer, or a porn star. (End of rant)
That being said, I would hope to see Heather Graham return as Annie if only to tie up her storyline since her scenes were deleted from "Fire Walk With Me" and I think a lot of fans, myself included, would very much like to know what happened to her.

Amen: they both stole Boogie Nights in it's entirety.

I really hoped that she'd be returning for the new season but it seems like she isn't! Such a shame, I wonder how we'll find out ''how's Annie??'' all these years later.
