'CSI' Star Splits From SAG President Hubby
With the possibility of a Screen Actors Guild strike, it's not the best time for Alan Rosenberg's marriage to go south.
The SAG president and his wife, "CSI" star Marg Helgenberger, have separated after being married for nearly two decades, reports People.
"After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart," says the actress' rep said Monday. "They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family." -

I've gotten a lot of google alerts on that for the past week and a half. I didn't believe it at first because all of the sources were from out of the US. Then yesterday, I got an alert that was from Extra and I was like "Wow, it must be true." I'm shocked to hear about it, because they seemed very happy. I guess the stress of the possible Actors Strike and other things has given her some sort of an epiphany.
Or is it a mid-life crisis of some sort?
I don't know

The story says they are taking some time apart so let's hope it doesn't mean they are getting a divorce. 20 years is a long time together
I'm238 sure Alan's job as President of SAG doesn't help matters much.
Good luck to them no matter what they decide in their personal life. -

Goosh. I so cannot believe it.
I guess as a fan I always though that since they've lasted this long, they'll stay together for the rest of their lives. Marg (and her marriage) is way more mature than Britney.
I'm gonna hazard a guess that it's related to his presidency and the SAG strike. Cos CSI is in it's evening (NOT NIGHT YET) leg, so I won't think Marg is too ambitious or anything about it.
Geez, I just thought they would really last forever. She's always been saying good things about him. From that season 5 episode commentary, and I think more resently than that too (i can't remember though, but I know it was positive and gave the impression of a strong, healthy marriage)
Lots of us think it and maybe are too nice to voice it out, but Marg is a beautiful, sexy, sassy, interesting (from her fun interviews) lady, while Alan um, well, isn't exactly a Brad Pitt. I just thought she saw and loved something in his character/personality and she'd stick with that for life. -

I thought that too, but never felt right about saying it. I mean there is more to a person than looks.

Uhso? I don't know of a nice238r way to tell you to mind your own business. I know that made me sound mean, but
Plus Marg is one of my fave actresses and when something does occur (even if it's not everyday) I would like to know. Like I found out yesterday that she has filed for divorce (after being separated for 4 months) from her husband.
Yes We Can! Yes We Did!
