Do YOU know anyone who became Famous ?

My family is related to an Irish actor named Mick Lally. But I doubt anyone here had heard of him so it's not that exciting.
The only other connection I can think of is that my cousin is best friends with Gillian Anderson's (the X-Files) younger brother, and I grew up right near the house that Gillian Anderson grew up in. -

My uncle was the drummer in the sugar cubes. It was Bjrk's big break band. That is every one I know personally, but I went to Bjrk's son's birthday party when I was a kid and the keyboard player from Sigur Rs grew up in the same house as I just before I grew up there.

My mum knows a lot of british comedy actors from before they were famous like him who played Walker in Dad's Army, and Zoe Wannemaker(sp?) As they used to go to some amature dramatics theatre company in York, and mum used to help out behind the scenes.

I know Tessa Allen gracie from enough. Kelly Vitz goes to my school and the guy that plays Doyle on Gilmore Girls graduated from there like 12 years ago. My cousin was one of the editors for Arested Development111c he got an emmy nod last year but lost. The O.C. filmed at my school earlier this year and I may get to meet Melinda Clarke over the summer.

I went to the same highschool as Rachel McAdams. I think she graduated before I got there, but I went there at the same time as her younger brother and sister, and she comes back to my town sometimes. SO I didn't actually KNOW Rachel, but I did know her brother.
Also, my best friend's husband's school played in a volleyball tournament against Avril Lavigne's school, and he met her a couple times before she became famous. He was also on a train with her one time (he grew up very close to Napanee)
