With all due respect to you redsoxfan, no one lives forever. We all gotta leave this world sometime and for Bob the time was now. Think about it: he was 100 years old, weak and frail. I mean as I'm wrting this post, I could die right in the middle of writing it because you never know when your last breath will come and we're not promised tomorrow.

Hope will live forever as far as I'm concerned. He may be the most filmed and recorded person on the planet to date.
I was reviewing his body of work, and I'm pleased to see that there are still some movies of his that I haven't seen.
We were very lucky to have him in person for 100 years.

Bob Hope is one of the greatest entertainers ever known. We have all heard of his work and his great talent. Thb68e memory of Bob Hope will go on for generations. Those of you out there who don't know much about this man, i strongly suggest seeing some of his movies or reading a bit about who he was and what he did for comedy.
        Thanks for the memory.

For anyone who may not have heard, Bob Hope donated his collection of photos, jokes, playbills, recordings, etc. to the Library of Congress. It can be viewed at www.loc.gov/exhibits/bobhope/. Check it out, it's really interesting. Also, his official website at www.bobhope.com is great, too. It has a place to email his family.

No one lives forever. Even entertainers die. We all are made out of dust. But Bob Hope will live forever through what he left behind. That's the wonderful thing about being an entertainer, you'll never be forgotten. They live on through their work. I don't agree with the way Bob Hope lived, but he was a alright guy. If I'm wrong about Bob Hope then I wish someone would show me a decent biography of him. I read the book by Marx son, I don't know if it's true or not, but it revealed a lot.

He will live forever, just not in the traditional sense. There will always something Bob Hope in this world. Just not Bob Hope himself, I guess.

He should be lucky that he lived that long. Many people died at a young age.

I know how you feel. I knew that he would die someday because he was 100 and at the same time I thought he would live forever.
He is still alive in our memories and heart 😃

I know what you mean I thought he would be here forever too. I felt the same way when Gregory Peck died.
