I remember a joke in the wake of Hudson's death and revelation that he was gay, with the punch line about "a piece of the Rock". Anybody remember it?

No and I don't want to know either. I was 10 when he died and my grandma always loved him and she was saddened by the "nasty and cruel jokes"she was the sweetest lady, too.

Q: What do you call Rock Hudson in a wheelchair? A: Roll AIDS.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
