I'm going to randomly place a comment among these unbelievably race obsessed threads: She's a member of one race - the human race. There DOES NOT EXIST, ON THE HUMAN PLANET, MORE THAN ONE RACE. Any species that can pro create within their own species is of the same race of that species. WE have all become confused and obsessed about "race" and color in this last century because of many, very unfortunate, relatively recent, tragic factors in recent, human history. But much of what has been written among these boards about race and color are either extremely superficially trivial and unimportant or just plain wrong or both (for further information see information regarding mitochondrial DNA tests etc). Race is a social construct. This is not specifically directed toward "hugoboiso-1," nor any one in particular.
Mrs. Olivia Hussey, by the way, happens to have listed her own "ETHNICITY" as Latino/Hispanic on her official website (see also her official myspace page). Beautiful women, as we know, come from all, various ethnicities. -

"not part of whitey".Wow. You are really enlightened. Whenever I encounter thinking like this I remember a documentary I saw years ago about a tiny fishing village on the south coast of England. Most of the village is set on a hillside that is divided by a path that runs down to the beach. The people who live above the path do not like the people who live below the path. The people who live below the path do not like those who live above the path. Of course, both of these groups hate the people who live on the beach at the bottom of the hill. Hooray for hate.

My understanding is that Ms. Hussey's father was an Argentinian opera singer and her mother was English. Her parents split up when she was 2 years old and her mother took her back to England where she was educated. Her mother earned a living by being a secretary. Olivia dropped her father's name and took her mother's maiden name when she started a stage career.
Zefferelli said that he was a father figure to her since she lost her father when she was very young. -

WTF, she's not "multiracial", she's White. She's not "hispanic", she's Argentinean.
It's very common for Argentineans to have English, German or French last names.
