I was watching a rerun of "Murder She Wrote"(S02 E05), and for an instant, thought I was looking at Merle Oberon's clone! It turned out to be Olivia Hussey. I was surprised I hadn't noticed the resemblance before. Is there any connection between them? Can anyone here tell me?

She mentioned in an interview that someone told her she was like a cross between Merle Oberon and Loretta Young. I don't see the resemblance between Olivia and Merle Oberon (or Loretta Young for that matter), but in the end it comes down to personal connotation. Otherwise, I don't think that there is a connection between them.
