Agreed, SuperBaes. In Romeo and Juliet, she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen.

Yes, yes I can't agree with you more. Whenever I think of Juliet, I'd recall her face. She looks so pure.
There are some beautiful actresses someone mentioned, but think about 1968 when make-up wasn't as advanced as today, Olivia still looked gorgeous. -

The best women ever look is for a few years when they are just turning mature. Just like flowers, they only bloom for so long. After getting pregnant most take a downward turn, and need plastic surgery to attempt to achieve it, but no plastic surgeon can make a woman look naturally beautiful again.
Catherine-Zeta Jones was absolutely perfect between the first Zorro and Entrapment.
Jennifer Aniston was her best right around when she started dating Brad Pitt, thanks to a good nose job.
Patricia Ford the model from Hawaii was the most beautiful woman in the world about 1996-1998. Then a few years later got trashy, breast inplants, and became unphotographable a few years later.
Angelina Jolie looked great just around Tomb Raider, but her lips are too exaggerated looking. She's not all that.
Zhang Ziyi was amazing in Crouching Tiger, but is now losing her young woman looks.
Scarlett Johansson looked absolutely incredible between Lost in Translation and Match Point, is starting to look ordinary. She should really stop smoking.
Elish Cuthbert was hot between season 2 of 24 and The Girl Next Door. I think smoking has ruined her too.
Audrey Hepburn around Breakfast at Tiffany's was unforgettable.
Kathryn Grayson in Anchors Aweigh was damn fine.
Beyonce has been staying hot for a while. Generally, black, native american, and south&east asian woman tend to maintain their looks longer. But she is losing her young woman appeal.
Marilyn Monroe around Gentleman Prefer Blondes.
Charlize Theron between 2 Days in the Valley and Cider House Rules
Lucy Lui was hot between Charlie's Angels 1 and 2, then tapered off by Kill Bill.
Olivia Hussey was just perfect starting at the time of R & J. I have not seen much of her after that, but she looked divine. -

Olivia Husseys beauty is unexplainable, I can't think of a word that can explain her beauty except for gorgeous or stunning, but she's more than gorgeous and more than stunning. She's is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and im not exaggerating at all. It's very rare that i'll see a girl and really think they are good-looking or have a special way about them but the minute I saw Olivia in Romeo & Juliet I thought "Oh my God, she's so beautiful" plus: She wears no makeup and shes flawless. Not too many people can pull it off, ya know. Anyone who think she's shes beautiful should watch "The Bastard" you'll be amazed by the way she looks. It's not just her looks, it's the way she acts, she can be polite, sexy (Watch The Bastard to see what I mean), funny, and nice, she's not snobby or mean like other actresses these days. You can't forget about the accent (So cute!) Okay, i'm not a lesbian or bi lol but I do have feelings. By the way, half these people on here wouldn't even know about Olivia if they didn't watch Romeo & Juliet in their English class lol I actually have watched her in The Bastard (A MUST SEE!!) Black Christmas (Adorable in this movie!) Romeo & Juliet (Absolutely stunning in it and also a MUST SEE) and i'm hoping to see her in The Summertime Killer and Psycho 9.

You're right about 'stunning'. Last December I went with a friend to a revival theater to see the original Black Christmas. Little did we know that she was there in person! She spoke before and after the film
She is radiant in person. Remember that she is almost 60 years old and has that glow that actresses 1/3 her age don't even have. Also when people came up to her for autographs, she thanked THEM for coming to the screening. Now that's class. True beauty inside and out. Today's actresses could take a lesson from her.
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy. -

Anyone who is an Olivia Hussey fan should see screenwriter/director Gerry O'Hara's "All the Right Noises," which was her very next movie after "Romeo and Juliet." Filmed in 1969, ATRN captures Olivia's beauty when it was every bit as fresh as in R&J, so this is a must see. Besides, the story line of ATRN is rather intriguing: a 32-year-old man falling in love with a 15-year-old girl. Now, THAT is a premise that would never make it past the screen police in today's world!
One other thing: the BFI release of "All the Right Noises" includes as a bonus the full, uncut, 16-minute interview that Bernard Braden made (in October 1967) with the talented stars of "Romeo and Juliet," Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey. Both of them are incredibly cute to see and hear, and it is quite obvious that there was a very hot affection between them at the time! -

I agree with that. Most women tend to look their best mid- to late-20's (or even early 30's), when they've matured into confident adults but are still retaining some of their youthful, girly glow, resulting in the best possible balance of having lost their awkwardness/baby fat but not showing tiredness. Jennifer Aniston, Lucy Liu, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Emily Blunt, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Katherine Heigl, Rachel McAdams, Natalie Dormer, Sandra Bullock, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, Evangeline Lilly, Amanda Seyfried, and many more are all good examples. (I call these people rom-com actresses, because most Hollywood stars who starred in rom-coms last decade were within that age range and at their healthiest, strongest, and most confident.)
Other women tend to get better with age (think Monica Bellucci, who had an adult-looking face from a young age, or Salma Hayek), and still others peak in their mid-teens because they have that perfect prettiness and delicate bone structure that's also bitchy and hot, but it doesn't translate as well into adulthood (eg. Vanessa Hudgens, Natalie Portman, Mischa Barton, Hilary Duff, Brooke Shields, Lucy Hale, the Olsen twins, Kirsten Dunst, Selena Gomez, Emma Roberts, Mena Suvari, Victoria Justice, and I guess Olivia Hussey).
Also, some are insanely hot for a short period of time in their early 20's but not as much before or after, because they had too much baby fat before and aged quickly after (Scarlett Johansson, Emilia Clarke, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Julia Roberts, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson). Very few women, like Diane Lane or Julie Andrews, remain absolutely beautiful their whole lives with no adjustment stages, it's kind of unfair. -

a beauty she truly is!
there are many annoying teenage girls there (i'm a teenager myself but not one of those) who keep saying that the squeaky girl from highschool musical reminds them of olivia hussey just because leonard whiting "looks like" zac efron. all i can do whenever i read such things is roll my eyes because the girl looks NOTHING like oliva hussey, and zac efron resembles leonard by only a tiny bit since zac looks."girlier" than leonard (i slowly realized that the more i watch romeo and juliet). i dont think there is a girl out there who looks like her, her beauty is so unique.
