Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Peter Hyams

    Uthell — 18 years ago(April 23, 2007 05:03 PM)

Around 1996 James Cameron wrote a 200 page scriptment for a film called Bright Angel Falling, an asteroid epic. The treatment was turned into a full script by Peter Hyams, with plans for one of them to direct. Then Deep Impact and Armageddon were released when word of Cameron's epic leaked out. Bright Angel Falling was shelved. Can anyone shed some light on the story of Bright Angel, or better still show me a script or treatment. Thanks.

I too have been trying to obtain the script. A member at planetpandora.com led me here:

You have to pay for it, though. I've been searching the net, and scripthouse.com is where I ended up myself.
