Awww, That's a nice speech. But it's factual bull crap. I know TONS of MORE talented actresses that isn't worth a 100 mill! And if she was worth it, then she should have earned it on her own. You cant justify taking a mans hard earned money! Women are becoming more and more pathetic, that way. NEVER MARRY GUYS, Or pay the price! Remember, you've been warned!

Never Marry. When will Men learn this?! Women think a broken heart is equal to Millions?
Are you a Sociopath? Do you think they did not have a prenup? Do you think she proposed and promised to be with him forever? No. He proposed then cheated on her and left her. It was his choice dufus. It's women who have to learn not to marry selfish people who clearly cannot be monogamous.

Blah Blah Blah. Feminist. Who cares. You cant guilt trip smart men into marrying you, lmao!
So what, She got cheated on. She could have just left!! MEN GET CHEATED BY WOMEN TOO, IDIOT! And we just leave. We don't take millions from women. Chances are, they don't have it. lol!
Last message guys: NEVER MARRY, Don't make a woman guilt trip into doing it. Keep your money you've worked too hard just to lose it. -

He LEFT
her
. That is the point of my post. How does that make me a feminist? It's true. Yes,men do take millions if the woman is the rich one. Of course they do.
I don't care if the cheater is male or female but we are talking about Stephen Spielberg.
Last message to guys from me: Date men and don't marry a woman if you can't stay monogomous and are paranoid about women. Same for women in reverse.

That's a big "

So true. I put my career on hold for five years for my ex-wife, in order to raise our children. In our divorce I only received a paltry $10,000, and she kept everything else. That figure doesn't even begin to cover my student loan debt. She's now living in a $600,000 house in California with my children, while I'm living with my brother in Tennessee - so yeah, women are monsters.

Any account I've read it was Spielberg who crazy stalked her for years before their marriage. They didn't really get along and then he left her for another actress.
Besides he has more money than god, 100 million is pocket change for him. -

A couple of points that come up again and again on this thread.
- They had a prenup but it was written on a napkin and thrown out by the judge.
- Spielberg was not worth what he is worth now in 1980 whatever. 100 Million was a large percentage of what Spielberg was worth at the time, and she's still getting money from him because she got a nice chunk of his royalties.
Pretty sweet deal for living a life of luxury with him for 4 years!

None of my business; not my marriage - I don't know the details of their relationship Perhaps $100M is a bit excessive, but I bet you wouldn't say anything if she got nothing, and we don't know how supportive she was

At least it was over and they cb68ould go on with their lives, keep working, marry other people, have more children, etc. And neither of them became a meme or had a petition started to "help" their careers.
I'd say they both made out fine.

In that famous book about 70's film (I forget the name, Saint and Sinners or something like that.)
Irving does not come off well.
She was supposedly hyper ambitious and thought marrying Spielberg was her ticket to super stardom when it actually was the opposite.
She was pretty nasty too him too.
What5b4 was her relationship with DePalma like? Were they a couple?
