This movie is just wonderfulis it just me who is a huge fan?
I love romantic comedies when they are well done.the greats from the 30's and 40's.When Harry Met Sally, only a few good ones come to mind in the last twenty years.Crossing Delancey is simply great.
In this, the actors are believable and charming and you like them and its written simply and presented well and the Bubbie is fun and the mixing of the old world and the new world and the mixing of uptown with downtown is great.

It is quite a good movie. I actually did not like it the first time I watched it, but it really grew on me. I guess my expectations were different from what the film is. I think what makes Crossing Delancey good is its collage of relationships. It's not just 'boy meets girl.' There's so much more going on, that it demands multiple viewings.

Crossing Delancey is a delightful movie that I would highly recommend. Also the
Competition. One of the best kissing scenes in any movieever. So wonderful to see Amy Irving in the Good Wife. More please

I thought it was a decent film. Love the 80s hair and styling and New York at the time, however Irving's character is quite unlikable in 5b4the film, she treats her friends like crap as well as the male lead not only playing hot and cold all the time but talking him down all the time. I was hoping the quirky friend and Reigert would get together and Amy was left alone.
FYC: Lily Tomlin, Grandma.
