Brion's is one of those faces that popped up so often without you really noticing
couldnt have said it better but now I will pay more attention to his roles. Looking back at the list on here he has popped up in so much I have seen and now thinking about the roles he played, I can so easily remember each one. -

Just re-reading my old comments I hope I didn't cause any offence when I said you didn't notice him, I should have chosen my words better. What I meant was his was a comforting pre5b4sence, you didn't need to ask why he was there and you knew there was at least one fine performance on view. I especially liked him in Bladerunner and as the one-armed Cajun in Southern Comfort. Fifth Element showed an untapped potential for light-hearted roles. I was surprised he was pretty handsome on his IMDB portrait for a man who made a trademark of playing slightly unhinged oddballs!
Its such a shame he passed when he did, he must have been close to achieving proper recognition for his hard work and induction to the halls of "national treasure" like Harry Dean-Stanton. -

This really sucks. I was mainly looking him up because he was the guy in Knight Rider 2010 (horrible movie) but he was a good villain.
He's in so much more though. Loved him in 5th element. Hate it when it takes me 5 years to find out.
Books are meant to be read, if not, they'll die and so will we! -

I was genuinely saddened by Brion James' untimely death as well. He was a truly great actor who made a substantial contribution to any movie he appeared in. He was just incredible as Leon in "Blade Runner," likewise excellent as Stubbs in "Enemy Mine," and genuinely frightening in "The Horror Show." I also liked his portrayal of the one-armed Cajun hunter in "Southern Comfort" and his hilarious cameo in "Blue Sunshine" as the guy who flips out at the party by imitating Rodan the Japanese monster. I met Mr. James at a horror convention a few months before he died and found him to be a very nice, polite and amiable guy who told2000 the funniest dirty jokes. Stupid me didn't get his autograph.
