I figured he must've died on a holiday weekend when I wasn't paying attention or on a big weekend when some other huge news occurred (like how there was virtually no other news covered on 9/11 besides the terrorist attack). I don't remember anything else taking over the news in August of 1999, though. That's odd that I don't remember this.

You've got to be kidding. I didn't know either. How sorry is that. I loved this guy in anything I saw him in. A super character actor. I wondered why I didn't see him in anything anymore.

Hi,
Sorry; this is way overdue I suppose but I never really scrutinized this site much, after I posted the short bio. Brion was born in 1945 and died in 1999, making him 54 years old, not 45. Funny how long it took for the media to publicize the facts. We tried but they seemed not to believe us that Brion had passed. Too little and too late. How sad.
