I don't know about you, but if I find out that an actor is a complete jerk I can't enjoy him or her as an actor anymore.
It isn't a matter of "getting a life". It's a matter of investing entertainment dollars.

oh dear, what a sensitive moron.
"investing entertainment dollars"
the actor is a jerk and you refuse to invest your money.
okay then, what about the executive producers and marketing distributors all along the assembly line, chuck a stone in a group of them and you're bound to hit another beep there - you going to withhold your "investment dollar" then ??

he's a great actor but he sounds like a jerk. I met Jennifer Jason Leigh, after seeing her in a play in NYC years ago, and she wasn't friendly at all. I always liked her and I don't care to see her in anything any more. It really is a turn off when they act rude. It wouldn't kill them to be somewhat friendly, especially towards someone who just paid money to see their play.

Lol this isn't exactly an uncommon phenomenon.. I think most people feel this way to some degree.. Just look at Mel Gibson. A list actor and on his way to being an A list director, and then BOOM. You need to be liked as a person to be loved as an actor I think.

One year, not so long ago, at the Academy Awards, five former winners in each category came out and introduced one of the nominees. It was a great idea - maybe they've done it since. I started to feel the hackles rise a little when they introduced Anthony Hopkins, then Sir Ben Kingsley. Kingsley introduced Frank Langella for his role as former President Nixon in the Nixon-Frost interview movie. He said that Langella had produced the BEST depection of Nixon that had EVER been filmed. Beside him stood Anthony Hopkins, who had been brilliant in Oliver Stone's "Nixon". Langella is absolutely wonderful, no doubt. But I surmise that even he was taken aback at the arrogant snub that had just been spoken about Anthony Hopkins, standing by his side, on live TV. I thought that the demand to be called "Sir" all the time was bad enough; this was downright rude. No more respect from me for Ben - great actor that he is. Maybe I'll change my mind when Sir Caine, Sir John, Sir McCartney, and Sir Jagger all make the same demand. Uhh - take that back they still need to create a Sir Richards.

I cant bear to reply this before someone judge him as arrogant because of wrong information.
The man who introduced Frank Langella was Michael Douglas. Instead, Sir Ben Kingsley introduced Mickey Rourke with incredibly speech.
