His most memorable role is a tie between David in Sabrina and David in Nurse Betty.
Hey JIFI totally agree. Of all his movies, these two roles appealed to me the most as well. My very favorite is David in
Sabrina
; however, next in line was when he played the soap star in
Nurse Betty
. That was such a dark commedy; and, it was totally hysterical in my view! (Loved Morgan Freeman in that film as well!) Anyway, speaking of dark commedies, I am also a fan of Jeremy Irons! I posted a while back on the
Reversal of Fortune
board. I thought he was simply *brilliant in that role. That's got to rank up there as one of
the most brilliant performances I've "ever" seen!
He simply blew me away with that role!!!!! fp..:)

His best performance is As Good as it Gets in my opinion, and I love Little Miss Sunshine as well.
I also thought he was hilarious in Mystery Men:)
I'm looking forward to seeing Flash of Genius, heard that was good and that he is great in it -

Sabrina was on this morning! Also love The Gift (entire cast), As Good As It Gets view once a year minimum, Baby Mama, Little Miss Sunshine and Kinnear did a good job as JFK, the actor playing Bobby very good. I've seen parts of Auto Focus, not easy to watch but he did justice to the dark story (wow Bob Crane was twisted).

Love him . . no specific order As Good As it Gets, The Gift, Baby Mama, Little Miss Sunshine and he's dark and does an excellent job in Auto Focus (couldn't get through it). So add Sabrina and/or Someone Like You, more than five!

I don't really rank my favorite Kinnear films by entertainment or love of the film but more for the films where he gives the best performance. As I believe him to be one of the most underrated actors working today. Kinnear and Gary Oldman need to start a club. He really has shown himself to be able to handle it all. An accomplished character actor, a comedic film star for a period of time, leading man, talk show host. It was sad to see him almost fall into the Bill Pullman role of the guy who never gets the girl for a bit, like his character in You've Got Mail but he certainly climbed out of that hole with his talent as a serious actor. I am convinced there is nothing he can't do in the field of acting.
Favorites Include:- The Kennedy's (technically a mini-series but he was a very good JFK and this remains one of my favorite works of Kinnear and I watch it the most often out of all his films. I wish this mini-series was even longer than it is because Kinnear is so good in it, as were Barry Pepper and Tom Wilkinson)
- As Good As It Gets (gotta love Kinnear in this film, so glad he was nominated because that performance could have so easily been overlooked as many are)
- Little Miss Sunshine (he's so good in this film that he makes it look easy, it's not a flashy role like Alan Arkin's (who as most know, won the Oscar for this film) but Greg really carries the movie and I thought deserved an Oscar nomination, but 2007 was a very competitive year in the Best Actor category)
- Flash of Genius (another overlooked performance, he was absolutely outstanding in this film as was the make-up design)
- Auto Focus (Kinnear seemed tailor made to play the late Bob Crane. It's hard for me to picture anyone else in this role, yet another underrated performance. As was Willem Dafoe's who was just as riveting as Kinnear playing the creepy John Carpenter)
- Sabrina (I can't say all that much for the film itself, it's not the best re-make ever produced in Hollywood but Kinnear's performance is worth the price of admission and mainly the only reason I watch it)
