Love him . . no specific order As Good As it Gets, The Gift, Baby Mama, Little Miss Sunshine and he's dark and does an excellent job in Auto Focus (couldn't get through it). So add Sabrina and/or Someone Like You, more than five!

I don't really rank my favorite Kinnear films by entertainment or love of the film but more for the films where he gives the best performance. As I believe him to be one of the most underrated actors working today. Kinnear and Gary Oldman need to start a club. He really has shown himself to be able to handle it all. An accomplished character actor, a comedic film star for a period of time, leading man, talk show host. It was sad to see him almost fall into the Bill Pullman role of the guy who never gets the girl for a bit, like his character in You've Got Mail but he certainly climbed out of that hole with his talent as a serious actor. I am convinced there is nothing he can't do in the field of acting.
              Favorites Include:

              1. The Kennedy's (technically a mini-series but he was a very good JFK and this remains one of my favorite works of Kinnear and I watch it the most often out of all his films. I wish this mini-series was even longer than it is because Kinnear is so good in it, as were Barry Pepper and Tom Wilkinson)
              2. As Good As It Gets (gotta love Kinnear in this film, so glad he was nominated because that performance could have so easily been overlooked as many are)
              3. Little Miss Sunshine (he's so good in this film that he makes it look easy, it's not a flashy role like Alan Arkin's (who as most know, won the Oscar for this film) but Greg really carries the movie and I thought deserved an Oscar nomination, but 2007 was a very competitive year in the Best Actor category)
              4. Flash of Genius (another overlooked performance, he was absolutely outstanding in this film as was the make-up design)
              5. Auto Focus (Kinnear seemed tailor made to play the late Bob Crane. It's hard for me to picture anyone else in this role, yet another underrated performance. As was Willem Dafoe's who was just as riveting as Kinnear playing the creepy John Carpenter)
              6. Sabrina (I can't say all that much for the film itself, it's not the best re-make ever produced in Hollywood but Kinnear's performance is worth the price of admission and mainly the only reason I watch it)
This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time. - Fight Club

Greg brings a quiet dignity to every role he plays and I have enjoyed his performances in everything I have seen him in.
                  Yesterday I saw
                  Heaven is for Real
and really enjoyed his performance in that, but my other favorite Kinnear performance was
                  As Good as it Gets
. The two best scenes of AGAIG were the "rock bottom" scene with the fight between Melvin (Jack Nicholson) and Simon (Greg), and later when he rediscovers his art by drawing Carol (Helen Hunt)

He's good in everything, but The bad news bears remake cast him perfectly.

Shocked that only one or two have Auto Focus at the top of the list.

He deserved the Oscar in As Good As It Gets more than the two who won. He really gave the best performance in that movie.
