I'm absolutely nuts about this guy

I first discovered Greg when he gave such a poignant portrayal of a gay man in As Good as it Gets. I was hooked by the subtle nuances of his beautiful performance in that film. In fact, that portrayal began the cracks in the homophobic veneer over my heart. He so got through to me the anguish of the life of homosexuals in societies that shun them that he made me feel the first pangs of shame for my loveless callousness. No small thing, that.
Since then I have seen him in great and not so great films, yet he is consistently wonderful in every single one. There's a purity about his person that permeates his portrayals.
I am most certainly a huge fan. Never thought to come over here to this board though till today, and funnily enough it's after watching the fluffy rom/com A Smile Like Yours three times on TV. Not the greatest of films, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, largely because of Greg. He is magnetic and magical.
Oh. And his smile could light up a room.
Need to now catch up on his filmography.
Edit: Just saw the trailer for Salvation Boulevard. Can't wait to see this! I find it interesting that Greg's brother worked for Billy Graham and Greg is in a film like this.
Edit2: Whoa. Just realized SB came and went. I never even heard of it. Never saw one ad. It got 72% fresh on rottentomatoes.com yet only a 22%fresh from critics. Something amiss there. Need to check if this is out on DVD. Love him. Love Pierce Brosnan. Love Marisa Tomei.
