There aren't many better comedic performances that I've seen than Nathan as Albert in "The Birdcage." Oh, my goodness, I can laugh for days after watching that movie.
He's also great as Ernie in "Mousehunt."
Two brilliant performances. -

I think I know only two character.and I realized "it's the same actor!" right now.
sorry for being not so into him,
But I saw a movie "Ironweed"5 times in theater. It had no-good reputation,at least in 80's,said Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep were not fit to be homeless.
But many co-actor were so good in the movie. It made me watch 5 times.
One of those great sub-character was "Harold Allen".played by Nathan.
I still can remember clearly even after nearly 30 years.
Another Character I know is,Which just made me realize how he's doing now,is you guys know,on Modern Family.I like Pepper so-so;)
I will know how I like Pepper(to the level of Harold Allen?) 30 years later.
Hope my English mistakes make you laugh. -

Preed from "Titan A.E.", because this is the first time Lane doesn't speak in a "New-Joisey" accent and got to play a villain for the first time - the first "evil" villain in a Bluth feature since Paul Shenar's Jenner in "The Secret of NIMH" instead of some annoying antagonist that lapsed between those two films from "An American Tail" to "Anastasia". I'm surprised Lane didn't receive an Annie nomination for his voice work in that film, not to mention he was the film's most popular character according to reviews.

Ernie Smuntz in Mousehunt. Loved him in that movie; with his lil' moustache, suits & his leather jacket. He was (& still is) cute & funny. It was a great movie & he was great. Anyway i love all his characters. Timon rocks!
