Her roles have been varied and whether comedy or drama, she has always been believable. Her lack of experience showed in her early roles, but the woman has learned and is beginning to master her craft. I was pleasantly surprised the the subtlety of her performance. I thought she was beautiful.

Queen Latifah always was very appealing. She gives the impression of having intelligence,pride,humor, and
strength, without arrogance or cruelty. Also, she has a great face.

She keeps playing the same archetype character over and over and over again.. what is she mastering or developing?? how to play her usual 2 dimensional character even more 2 dimensionally.. im confused..

I wish you'd give examples and back them up. I can't tell if I agree or not. I do agree that I'd like to see more dimension in the material, but I don't necessarily see the same "character" in each film. This would be an "industry" problem - not wanting to set precedents - not a personal talent problem.

I could go through individual examples but its the same in every movie. she plays the sassy, strong. which isnt a problem you go girl be strong, but if you constantly play this same role you arent really a "fine actress" in my opinion. the finest actors/actresses such as di caprio/ merylle streep ect
I partly agree as well that it is the industry who is forcing many actors to play their simplistic archetype over and over again but then again many of the best have clearly managed to break out of this and are recognized.

I do not know if she has developed in or if she was one good actress, ok of course she isgetting better with the experience but in the sett it off movie shw wasvery young she has a difficult role and she was very good in it..she had the talent and she still has it.. of course the experience is very important .. she had a good script to help her in set it off.. there are other movies that she has not that bonus and now it is her experience and skills
