even attempted to establish matriarchal structures within the Camorra. She was arrested and convicted several times, but this didn't significantly weaken her power within the organization. She was one of the first women to establish a dominant role within the Camorra and later the first woman to be convicted in connection with mafia crimes.
According to media reports, she died in the fall of 2017 at the age of 80.

Ilenia Bellocco belongs to a younger generation of female mafia members and is a member of the Pesce-Bellocco clan of Rosarno, part of the 'Ndrangheta, the Calabrian mafia. She passed on orders and collected money from extortion and illegal activities. In reference to the video, it would not only take the money (which is way more than 300bn) away from the criminals, but from the world economy. Drug money gets spent the same as the rest of it. Nobody in power is really interested in stopping it, by legalization or by force.

The money would stay in the
"world economy"
.
Tax revenue can be used to fund therapies and educational programs.
Only the criminals no longer get anything.
Don't worry. The criminals still have extortion, human trafficking and some other
'nice'
things left.
And no more good people die:- Victims of contaminated drugs (e.g. laced with Fentanyl)
- (Undercover) investigators in a
war on drugs
that was lost from the start.
