    Favorite movie?
    Having to choose only one, would be like me eating only one potato chip, can't do it.
    My favorite Viggo Movies are (and in pretty much this order):
    The Lord of the Rings (the whole trilogy)
    A History of Violence
    The Indian Runner
    Eastern Promises
    The Road
    Good

          Here are my favs:
          LOTR trilogy (kinda obvious choice
          )
          The Prophecy (1995) a minor role but a very interesting portrayal of Lucifer
          Alatriste (2006)
          Don't come too close, you don't wanna see my ghost

                    Actually Hidalgo has some very significant scenes , the Massacre at Wounded Knee was one of them and the Native American connection had some interesting story back line. I got that Viggo was making a statement in that film about how all of that went down. He showed respect for the Native American race and also concern for the horse. I think the Native Americans have the right idea concerning a connection to religion and nature herself. There really are good people in every race and nationality who seem to connect to the peace and quietness of Nature and the Earth.

                      The Road was pretty good in a different sort of way.

                        I think the real man for which he portrayed was the one making the statement. In any case, I would agree.

                                History of Violence, i mean Joey Joey. Joey. Epic. Character. (edit: I mean the character was like a twisted and slightly psychotic Max Payne.)
                                then eastern promises, again great character but the movie lacked that something special(IMHO the movie didnt get enough love/budget)
                                LoTR trilogy, he played a badass human king, i will give him that(but sometimes just a bit too EMO)
                                everything else.

                                    The LOTR trilogy without a doubt is my #1
                                    A Walk on the Moon
                                    Hidalgo
                                    A Perfect Murder
                                    G.I.Jane (Added bonus, Viggo in shorty shortslol
                                    )
                                    Vanishing Point (I cried my eyes out)
                                    Alatriste
                                    plus 90% of all of his other movies!lol
                                    I think Eastern Promises and The Indian Runner are probably his best movies, but I only managed to watch them onceso depressing

                                      I'm a huge fan of the LOTR trilogy, but I thought he was beyond outstanding in Appaloosa (and he hardly said a word). And I don'111ct even like westerns.

                                          Between what you posted above and your posting history, it becomes obvious that you seek out movies for their show of full frontal nudity, and especially penises. Is that truly the only reason you watch a good film?
