ive seen every episode of law and order that he's ever been in.It was a shock when they announced it on the news that he passed away.I loved Beauty and the Beast and he played Lumier (the candle stick)."Be our Guest" always cracked me up when i first saw when i was little. It wasn't till years later that i learned that it was jerry who was the voice and who sang that song.I highly recommend that you should rent Beauty and the Beast and Dirty Dancing. He played baby's dad.
Rest in Peace Jerry Orbach!

I miss him too. I almost cried when I saw the last L&O he was on. He looked so sick though. I just hope he wasn't in a lot of pain when he died. I believe in whatever state (meaning, if they're in pain, sad, happy, etc.), that's how their souls live.
R.I.P Jerry Orbach -

I watch Law & Order on TNT, and seeing Lennie Briscoe in reruns is like being able to visit an old friend. Jerry Orbach's passing is one of those that, for me, simply left an empty space. No other performer will be able to take his place. For me, it will be much the same watching MAS*H reruns after Alan Alda passes. How do you get your mind around the fact that this particular perfromer is no longer with us, except in the medium through which you now see him?
