      Well you can go around calling people cowardly hypocrites if you like. Scream to the skies about "political correctness gone mad". I come from a Muslim family (Not religious myself). Most Muslims I know have a fantastic sense of humour (Yes, about themselves). The fact that this article is from the Daily Mail just about sums it up.

            he is not a hypocrite. he is quite frank that times have changed, and making fun of religion is more dangerous nowadays than it would have been in the 70s. islam was not perceived as a threat then. Monty Pyton's ife of brian would not have been made when it was had things th5b4en been the way they are now. No comedian, unless he was completely insane, would make a comedy film if he thought it might endanger his life.
